Family and Consumer Sciences Scholarship

 In order to recognize and reward exceptional participation in Family and Consumer Sciences, the Hart County Homemakers Council has established a scholarship in the amount of $100.00.  This scholarship will be awarded to one Hart County Family and Consumer Sciences student upon their graduation from high school.

 In order to be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must:

         1.      Have been enrolled in a Family & Consumer Sciences class.

         2.      Complete the Hart County Homemaker Council Family and Consumer Sciences Scholarship application.

         3.     Attach one letter of recommendation from either a Family and  Consumer Sciences educator or an

                  individual, outside of the applicant’s immediate family, who is familiar with the applicant’s Family and

                  Consumer Science  participation.

          4.      Write a 500 word or less essay describing the influence of  your Family and Consumer               

                   Sciences experienced to your past, present and future, using specific examples from those experiences.

Completed application should be submitted to a Hart County or Caverna High School Guidance Counselor. 2023 Deadline TBA
